The object of the game is to make as many lines of 5 or more balls of the same colour as possible, horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. When you make a line, the balls in that line will disappear and you will gain score for each ball. After every turn, except if you made a line, three more balls are added randomly to the board, and the next three balls to be added are displayed. Eventually, the board will become completely full of balls and there will be no more available turns; at this point, the game has ended. You can start a new game at any time by clicking the New Game button.

Click on a ball to select it, and then on a square to move it to that position. There needs to be a clear path to move the ball through the board to the desired location, and the game shows you a valid route as you mouse over empty squares with a ball selected.

There are a number of difficulty settings, which you can select before starting a new game. Easy (4 colours) is recommended for players who are not used to playing strategy/logic games, and for kids. Normal (6 colours) is best to start out with, as it provides decent balance. If you have played the game for a while and you're getting good at it, Hard (8 colours) mode tends to give good score. The game gets progressively harder from there, with Hectic, Insane, and Impossible modes having 10, 11, and 12 colours respectively. The aptly-named hardest difficulty gives massive score for every ball eliminated, but with 20 different colours, little short of blind luck and/or astounding skill will allow for more than 2-3 lines before the game ends.
